New Shadow Housing Minister Named

 

The new shadow housing minister has been announced as Alison Seabeck, the MP for Plymouth Moor View.

The relatively unknown politician will work alongside one of Labour's many former housing ministers, the controversial Caroline Flint, who was appointed shadow secretary for Communities and Local Government in Ed Miliband’s shadow cabinet.

Seabeck was apparently parliamentary adviser to former housing minister Nick Raynsford for 12 years, focusing on housing, planning and local government.

Fellow members of the shadow CLG team are Barbara Keeley, Jack Dromey and Chris Williamson.
