Rightmove Is UK’s 8th-Most Popular Website, Research Claims

 

Data collected by Experian Hitwise shows that top property portal Rightmove has risen to eighth busiest website for UK users as of the end of January in terms of share of web pages viewed.

Its position is considerably stronger than the other UK portals such as Zoopla (number 98), Find a Property (125) and Primelocation (193). Moreover the data shows a strong growth since a similar league table from January 2010 which had placed Rightmove in ‘only’ 15th place.

Besides Rightmove, the top spots include the major global web players:

1) Facebook
2) Google
3) eBay
4) YouTube
5) Yahoo!
6) Amazon
7) MSN
8) Rightmove
9) BBC News
